1.up to 是．．．的义务
eg: It is up to you to support your parents.
赡养父母是你的义务．
2.in terms of 用．．．方法
eg: An idea is expressed in terms of action.
思想是由行动来表达的．
in terms of 由．．．观点
eg: You must not see life in terms of money.
你不可用金钱的观点来看人生．
3.nothing short of 除了．．．别无他法
eg: Nothing short of war will avail.
除了战争别无良策．
nothing short of 和．．．一模一样；实在是
