Mexico is working with officials from other Latin American countries to try to identify the remains of 72 immigrants. The immigrants are believed to have been killed by criminal groups linked to the illegal drug trade. Diplomats from Honduras, El Salvador, Brazil and Ecuador arrived in Mexico Thursday to help identify the bodies. Officials say 58 men and 14 women are among the dead. The bodies were discovered Tuesday at a farm near the town of San Fernando. An Ecuadorian man claims to have been the only survivor. He said the immigrants were kidnapped by an armed group and taken to the farm. He told officials that the kidnappers identified themselves as members of the Zetas drug group.
