Health officials in United States say the spreading A H1N1 swine flu virus is not as strong as the 1918 worldwide flu. That virus killed tens of millions of people around the world. The head of the Food Department at the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention says that scientists do not see the same genes in the new flu. The virus has killed 50 people in Mexico and one in the United States. Official in Mexico now say the A H1N1 virus is easily treated with anti-virus medicines if treatment did given quickly.

South Korea says that it confirm its first case of the A H1N1 virus. South Korea news agency reports that woman who recently visited Mexico is infected virus.

Early Hong Kong officials order hundred of visitor and hotel workers not to leave the hotel for the next 7 days. The order came after the test results show that the visitor from Mexico was infected with the virus. Hong Kong officials have given people in the Hotel the anti-virus medicine, Tami flu. This was the first confirmed case of the virus in Hong Kong and East-Asia.

Former Cuban President Fidel Castro says that the United States still is Cuba’s enemy and the striking to force the Cuban people to surrender to American power. Mr. Castro’s comment came a statement publish to celebrate the May Day Worker’s Holiday. He says the American wants Cuba to give up its political system. He says that could be “the same as free slave returning to the violence control their former owners.”

German polices say at least 48 people were arrested in Berlin. Russian officials arrested more than 100 people at the gathering in St. Petersburg. Violence also was reported in Greece, Austria, and Venezuela.

Secretary of States Hillary Clinton says that the United States is working to improve relation with Latin America. Secretary Clinton says the effects disman to barrens the growing influence of China, Iran, and Russia in the area. She spoke to the United States Foreign Service office at the States Department on Friday. Secretary Clinton criticizes Iranian and Chinese gains in Latin America she says those countries are building very strong economic and political connections with many Latin American leaders. She says the United States now must compete for attention.

President Barack Obama says he will try to have a new judge for the Supreme Court before the new term in October. Supreme Court Justice David Souter told the President on Friday that he will retire in June. This is President Obama first opportunity to appoint a judge to High Court. The senate must confirm the new judge.

Ethiopia says it has arrested 40 people suspected of plotting to kill top government officials. Those arrested since last week included active duty army officials and one general. Communication Minister Bereket Simon spoke to reporters on Friday. He says that police found evidences that the suspects plan to destroy telecommunication services and power stations. He says their goals were to make it possible for street arrest to overthrow that will be street protects to overthrow the government. He says that suspects are members of the opposition group ' 'Ginbot 7' . the “Ginbot ” group denys the accusations.

And the United States the Obama administration is increasing action against unemployed who knowing the hired illegal workers on Thursday. The Department of Homeland Security announces new guidelines for immigration officers. The guidelines say carefully plan the criminal investigation should be started against employees instead of workers. The guidelines say the immigration officers should see criminal charges as whether the financial or other civil punishment against offending employees. Officials say the immigration employees would continue to arrest illegal workers as part of efforts to build cases against the employees.
