President Obama says healthcare reform is necessary to rebuild the economy and make it stronger than before. Mr. Obama discussed the subject at a news conference late Wednesday. He noticed that 47 million of the Americans do not have healthcare insurance’s protection. He is urging low cost insurance’s protection for Americans. But the President said health insurance reform will not add to the Federal budget deficits. He said he wants money for healthcare to come from tax increases on the wealthy. He said one plan in the House Representatives will raise taxes on those earning more than one million dollars a year. The President also said Americans will have to make hard decisions to stop unnecessary treatments and taxes to help produce healthcare cost. Mr. Obama warned that 14,000 of the Americans will loss their health insurances everyday if no action is taken.

President Obama says the United States is meeting its goals for removing all troops from Iraq by 2011. But he warned that difficult days remain because of the religious violence in the country. Mr. Obama spoke at the joint appearance with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki at the White House. He said he and Mr. al-Maliki discussed efforts to build national unity and to spread Iraq oil will failure among the country’s communities. He also noticed the violence in Iraq is decreasing.

The American Secretary of State is expected to tell Asia Foreign Ministers that the United States does not want talk with North Korea that do not produce results. Hillary Clinton is to speak Tuesday to a security meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations on Thailand’s Phuket Island. She is expected to say that talks with North Korea must lead to a permanent end to its nuclear program. Ms. Clinton is to say that these could bring normal relations between the two countries and energy and economic aid.

The head negotiator aimed the political crisis in Honduras is proposing that the ousted President Manuel Zelaya return to Honduras Friday as its leader. Costa Rican President Oscar Arias is trying to end the disputes between the Mr. Zelaya and the group that ousted him. Mr. Arias said The President’s return to Honduras will be one part of the eleven step plan he had sent to both sides. Temporary President Roberto Micheletti has rejected any possibility of Mr. Zelaya’s return to power. However news reports late Wednesday showed that the temporary government will send Mr. Arias plan to Honduran Lawmakers for study.

Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman has met with the top Brazilian officials in Brasília. He asked President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and foreign minister Celso Amorim to use their influences with Iran to help stop the nation nuclear activities. Mr. Lieberman said that Brazil more than other countries may be able to persuade Iran to end its nuclear program. He called that program a threat to the world not only the Middle-East. MR. Lieberman is on a ten-day trip to Latin America, mends to limit Iran’s growing influences in the areas.

A top American diplomat says the United States is doing all it can to deal with the humanitarian crisis caused by Pakistan offensive against Taliban. Richard Holbrooke is the United States special representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan. He made his comments after meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and army chief General Ashfaq Kayani in Islamabad. Mr. Holbrooke said the United States has promised $165 millions to Pakistan. The aid is for really two million people displaced by fighting in Pakistan’s Swat Valley. The aid is part of total of $330 millions that is to help displaced Pakistanis.

Three NATO troops have been killed in separate explosions in Southern Afghanistan. The United States military confirmed that two of these soldiers were killed but provided not other details. Also Wednesday the British Defense Ministry said a British soldier was killed in an explosion in Helmand province.

Nigeria oil minister said his country’s oil production is less than a half of fully could be because of militant’s activity in the Niger Delta area. Rilwanu Lukman says daily production has fallen to less than 2 million barrels a day. Rebels have carried out a number of attacks since early June. That was after Nigeria’s military launch an offensive against militants in the oil producing area.

Australia ’s foreign minister says a dispute with China over the recent arrest of an Australian business official could continue for sometime. Stephen Smith says China’s detention of Rio Tinto's mining official Stern Hu on charges of stealing state secrets will not easily be resulted. He said lower level of Australian and Chinese officials continue to discuss the case. Mr. Smith spoke in Phuket, Thailand at the meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Chinese police seized four officials of the British and Australian mining company on July 9th. Three of the four are Chinese citizens. The company denies the charges against these employees.

In space news astronauts at the International Space Station have ended a space walk early than expected. United States space agency officials say astronauts had planed to work outside the space station for six and a half hours. But they ended the walk after five hours because astronaut Chris Cassidy had a problem with his space suit, a device that removes carbon dioxide from the astronaut air supply was not working correctly.
