Ukrainian election officials say opposition candidate Victor Yanukovych is leading in the country's presidential election. The officials say he has a ten percent lead over his opponent, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. About twenty percent of the votes have been counted. Mr. Yanukovych is claiming victory and has called on the Prime Minister to resign. However Mrs. Tymoshenko refuses. She has also accused Mr. Yanukovych's supporters of cheating. She says her campaign will protest the balloting from about 1000 voting stations. Complete official results are expected later this week
