Sudanese official say president Omar El-Bashir has won the country's presidential election. The official said the president won sixty eight percent of the votes from the elections held two weeks ago. They were Sudan's first presidential election in almost twenty five years to permit more than one political party. President Bashir is the only head of state wanted by the International Criminal Court. The court wants him trial for reported war crimes in Darfur. Election officals also announced that Salva Kiir was elected president of Southern in Sudan. They said he won nearly ninety three percent of the votes.
