President Obama says he will spare no expends to treat the effects of huge oil spill spreading from an undersea well near the coast of Louisiana. The president spoke after visiting the southeastern state and meeting with local officials. He said the people of the area have experienced disasters worse than anyone should have to suffer. The president also blamed the British Petroleum for the leak because it owns and operates the undersea well. Mr. Obama said the company will be pay for the environmental damage caused by the oil spill. Earlier, officials ordered a halt to fishing in parts of Gulf of Mexico affected by the oil leak. The national oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said the fishing suspension will continue for at least ten days. The affected water extend from the opening of Mississippi River in Louisiana to waters of Florida's Pensacola Bay.
