The United States and other western countries say they still have serious questions about Iran's nuclear program. On Monday, Iran said it had agreed to send some of its enriched uranium to Turkey in exchange for more highly enriched nuclear fuel. Iran said it would use the fuel for medical research. A report for International Atomic Energy Agency suggests that Iran would be treating about half of its supply of low enriched uranium. A spokesman for President Obama says Iran's plan to continue enriching some uranium would violate UN Security Council resolutions. He said the president still wants to seek new international action to punish Iran for its nuclear activities.
