Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has denounced North Korea for the sinking of a South Korean warship. She condemned the incident during a joint press conference Friday with Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada in Tokyo. Secretary Clinton said this can not be business as usual adding there must be an international action. She said the attack on the South Korean ship shows there are still dangers and challenges that base Japan and the United States together. Tensions between South and North Korea are growing after the South accused the North of sinking a South Korean warship. South Korean president Lee Myung-bak described the incident as a military provocation. He spoke to an emergency meeting of South Korea's National Security Council. He said the deadly attack violated the United Nations rules and the 1953 agreement that ended the Korean War. The UN command in South Korea will investigate the sinking.
