Engineers in Iran began loading fuel into the country's first nuclear power plant Saturday. The plant was built and is being fueled with help from Russia. Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency were present for the launch of the nuclear center. Iran's nuclear energy chief Ali Akbar Salehi praised the opening and criticized pressure and restrictions by Western Nations. Iran is under United Nations restrictions for its failure to halt its uranium enrichment activity at a separate nuclear center. An American State Department spokesman said the United States does not consider the nuclear plan a danger because it is being supervised Russia.
