It is zero hour thirty universal time, time for the news in Special English. Israel’s highest court has ruled for a disputed government decision to exchange hundreds of Palestinians soldiers for one Israeli soldier, families of Israelis killed in Palestinian attacks had presented four requests to the supreme court to stop the exchange, they argued that Palestinians being freed could carry out attacks against Israel, the family of captured soldier Gilad Shalit however told the court there should be not delayed in releasing him, Palestinians from the Gaza Stripe seized the soldier in southern Israel in 2006. The court’s decision makes it possible for the historical exchange to begin early Tuesday.

Fighters for the new government in Libya say they have taken control of most Bani Walid, fighters loyal to former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi still control parts of the city. The new government forces are also working to gain control of the coastal city of Sirte. In other news, a pro-Gadhafi television station in Syria is reporting that the former Libyan leader’s son Khamis was killed two months ago in fighting south of Tripoli, his death has not been confirmed by Gadhafi loyalists until now.

Syrian security forces killed at least 25 people Monday when they attacked the opposition city of Homes, people in the city and activists say tanks fired heavy guns into *** areas of Homes, large protesters there have demanded the removal of president Bashar al-Assad. Army deserters helping local people defend their neighborhoods are said to have killed 5 government troops in the fighting. In Switzerland, United Nations secretary general Ban Ki-moon urged Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to end the killing of civilians, he also urged the Syrian president to accept an international investigation of possible human rights abuses.

In Yemen, at least 8 people have died in clashes between troops loyal to president Ali Abdullah Saleh and opposition forces, medical workers say at least 3 of those killed were in Change Square in the capital Sana'a. Change Square has been a center of anti-government protests in Yemen, the other death resulted from nighttime clashes in and around Sana'a. Activists said tens of thousands of people gathered in the Yemeni capital on Sunday to call on president Saleh to resign.

President of Iran says the American government manufactured a report about an Iranian plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the United States, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke Monday night on *** television, he denied reports that Iran and the United States are headed toward a war, he also condemned what he called American interferences in Mideast issues, earlier Monday, foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi reportedly urged the United States to present any evidence of a plot to kill the diplomat. Pakistani officials say militants have killed at least 9 soldiers in Pakistan’s northwest tribe area, the attack took place in the *** area of *** agency along the border with Afghanistan, Pakistani military officials say pro-government troops were carrying out a search operation when they were attacked, the troops fired back killing 14 militants. A Pakistani spokesman said militants loyal to a Taliban religious leader have killed 100 security force members in the past three months , the spokesman said the clergyman *** is hiding in eastern Afghanistan , he said the Afghan national army and NATO led forces have fear to take action against the clergyman.

In China a Tibetan Buddhist religious worker has burn herself to death in protest of Chinese policies, the group called Free Tibet says that 20-year-old Buddhist *** let herself on fire Monday in Sichuan province, Free Tibet said she was the ninth Tibetan and the first woman to set herself on fire this year, Free Tibet also says Chinese police shot two Tibetans Sunday during a protest in Sichuan, Tibetan activists say police arrested seven others, the protesters were demanding greater freedom for Tibet and the unconditional return of the Dalai lama who lives in exile.

Taiwanese president Mayingjiu says he would like to sign a peace treaty with China if the people of Taiwan agree, mister Ma spoke Monday in Taipei. Recent public opinion studys show him leaning in the race for the presidency, his main competitor is opposition leader Caiyingwen , the elections are planed for January .

In Russia, prime minster and presidential candidate Vladimir Putin has appeared on national television, he discussed his disputed decision to seek a third presidential term, mister Putin also said he knows the public is unhappy whit the current situation in the country, last month mister Putin and president Dmitri A. Medvedev announced a plan to exchange jobs next year, mister Medvedev would have to lead the ruling party to victory in parliamentary elections in December, then mister Putin would have to win the presidential election in March.

Britain is praising a United Nations’ resolution that calls for a worldwide truth during the 2012 summer Olympics Games in London, and official with the British foreign office says all of the 293 members of the UN have agreed to the resolution, he says that it the greatest support a resolution has received in the history of the UN. The resolution calls on all nations to let down weapons when the summer games start on July 17th, the truth is to last through the Para-Olympics games for physically disabled athletes on September 9. The ideal of the Olympic truth goes back to ancient Greece; all wars were suspended so those competing in the games could travel safely.
